I’m Mary M Ernsberger, the No-Nonsense Nana
Before I became Certified in Holistic Nutrition, and earned a laundry list of degrees, and before I created Helping Children Thrive Beyond Labels program that provides solutions for stressed out parents who are looking for drug-free options to reduce or eliminate the disruptive behaviors that continually get their child in trouble at school. I spent years seeking out different methods that either didn’t work at all or only worked for a little while.
After much trial and error, I discovered that making the changes necessary to achieve long-term results was an on-going process, because attempting to make every change at one time only increased the stress, we were all experiencing. I’m so glad I continued my path of education, applying the new information I was learning. Though it took time, the modifications began to pay off and I saw real changes in his behavior – including no more bouncing off the walls after eating, fewer digestive issues, as well as a general improvement in his grades. That is when I knew I wanted to share what I had learned and experienced with other parents.
This is the beginning of real changes for you, your child, and your entire family. Click on the link to download your copy now!
Companies I Trust
Wild Pastures: This is where I get the meat I buy for my own home. Wild Pastures is a network of highly principled farmers in the USA raising animals outdoors on lush grass pastures – the way nature intended. All of our farmers utilize regenerative farming practices in order to raise healthy animals in a way that is beneficial to the ecosystem and environment.
Azure Standard: Well priced, order organic & certified non-GMO foods from home and pick up locally once a month. The drop off spot locations keep growing so check your area.
Mountain Rose Herbs: This is where I always buy my organic whole herbs & essential oils for teas, spice & essential oil blends. The quality has never disappointed.
Frontier Natural Products: Organic herbs are available in season so sometimes I have to go elsewhere if I run out. Frontier Natural Products is my next best choice. Plus they have a lot of other great products too. Member-owned co-op Frontier Natural Products prides itself on its values of integrity, social responsibility and openness, as well as its support of organic agriculture, fair dealings with small suppliers, and community and environmental programs.
Organic Valley: Another coop - I love these! Organic Valley is a large brand and available in most stores. I trust them for my dairy products (organic milk, cottage cheese, hard cheese). A farmer-owned cooperative, Organic Valley supports rural communities and protect the health of family farms through organic agriculture.
Numi Tea: This brand of tea is available in most grocery stores. I love their Organic Chai blend. Numi Organic Tea was founded by a brother-sister duo looking to introduce exotic, premium organic and fair trade teas to the U.S. market. The company is rooted in the principle of creating a healthful product that nurtures people and honors the planet.
Newman’s Own Organics: Organic, non-GMO versions of popular snack foods; free of refined oils and trans fats. Created in 1993 by Nell Newman as a division of her father’s philanthropic food company. I love their organic pizza!
Eden Organic: The oldest natural and organic food company in North America and the largest independent manufacturer of dry grocery organic foods, Eden Organic is rooted in Michigan and buys all of its food directly from farmers, most within a few hundred miles of its home base.
Plum Organics: I bought Plum Organics when my grand kids were little. Founded by a mother dedicated to offering the best-tasting and healthiest organic foods for babies, toddlers and children, Plum Organics produces a wide range of products that are certified organic and nutrient-rich.
Grounds for Change: I’ve never been a coffee drinker, but my kids certainly are. I’ve bought this brand for them as a stocking stuffer or just because gift. A family-owned and operated coffee-roasting company in the Pacific Northwest, Grounds for Change is committed to providing a sustainably, fairly produced product that benefits the environment, its farmers and its consumers.
